Madjid Tavana is Professor and Distinguished Chair of Business Analytics at La Salle University, where he serves as Chairman of the Business Systems and Analytics Department. He also holds an Honorary Professorship in Business Information Systems at the University of Paderborn in Germany.  Dr. Tavana is Distinguished Research Fellow at the Kennedy Space Center, the Johnson Space Center, the Naval Research Laboratory at Stennis Space Center, and the Air Force Research Laboratory. He was recently honored with the prestigious Space Act Award by NASA. He holds an MBA, PMIS, and PhD in Management Information Systems and received his Post-Doctoral Diploma in Strategic Information Systems from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He has published 22 books and over 300 research papers in international scholarly academic journals.  Dr. Tavana is the Editor-in-Chief of Decision Analytics Journal, Healthcare Analytics, Space Mission Planning and Operations, International Journal of Applied Decision Sciences, International Journal of Management and Decision Making, International Journal of Communication Networks and Distributed Systems, and International Journal of Knowledge Engineering and Data Mining. He is also an editor of Annals of Operations Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Computers and Industrial Engineering, Intelligent Systems with Applications, and Journal of Innovation and Knowledge.

Prof. Dr. Andrew W. H. Ip

Prof. Andrew W. H. Ip received his PhD from Loughborough University (U.K.), MBA from Brunel University (U.K.), MSc in Industrial Engineering from Cranfield University (U.K.), and LLB (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton (U.K.). Dr Ip was awarded in 2015 “Gold Medal with the Congratulations of Jury” and “Thailand Award for Best International Invention” in the 43rd International Exhibition of Geneva, and he was awarded the “Natural Science Award ” in 2013 Ministry of Education Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Awards by the Ministry of Education of Mainland China. Dr. Ip is distinguished and visiting professor of various China mainland universities, and Honorary Industrial Fellow of the University of Warwick, Warwick Manufacturing Group. He is Professor Emeritus and adjunct professor of Mechanical Engineering, University of Saskatchewan and senior research fellow of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is a chartered engineer, senior member of IEEE and member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, and members of various professional bodies in mechanical and electrical engineering. Prof. Zhili Sun

Prof.Zhili Sun'm a Chair Professor of Communication Networking and PGR Director with the Institute for Communication Systems (ICS), 5G/6G Innovation Centre, School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, University of Surrey; received BSc in Mathematics, Nanjing University in 1982, and PhD in Computer Science from Lancaster University in 1991.
He was an Assistant Professor in Southeast University from 1982 to 1985; worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) from 1989 to 1993. I have joined University of Surrey since 1993.
He was principal investigator and technical co-ordinator in many European projects including the ESPRIT BISANTE project on evaluation of broadband traffic over satellite using simulation approach, VIP-TEN project on Quality of Service (QoS) of IP telephony over satellite, EU 5th and 6th Framework Programme GEOCAST project on IP Multicast over satellites, ICEBERGS project on IP based Multimedia Conference over Satellite, SatLife project on IP over DVB-S/RCS, SATSIX project on IPv6 over satellite, Euro-NGI project on next generation Internet, RINGRID project on remote instrumentation over GRID computing, EC-GIN project on EU-China Grid Internetworking, HCast project for hybrid secure multicast funded by UK Electronics and Physical Sciences Research Council, and LKH over satellite funded by European Space Agency (ESA) and industries. He was a principal investigator in the EU FP7 ICT MONET and Space MISSION projects; and also the UK-China Science Bridge project funded by UKRC, and co-investigator in the multi-layer security, and DTN projects funded by Airbus Space & Defence – formerly EADS Astrium UK.
He has supervised 40 PhDs and 20 Postdoctoral Research Fellows; have published over 243 papers in International journals and 3 books as author or co-author, including many paper in the IEEE Transactions, journals and magazines. He contributed to standardisation actives to ITU-T and ETSI in QoS and IP multicast over satellite. He have also served as TPC committee members in many international conferences including the IEEE ICC and Globecom, and been ERSRC College Member, UK Fellow of High Education Academy, Reviewer and panel member, EU Technical Expert Reviewer, and member of Royal Society International Exchange Committee.
Prof.Zhili Sun have actively participated in and contribute to ITU-T and ETSI's works on satellite communication networks, as well as IEEE future networks on satellite 5G/6G development and research on Mega Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation networks. He has served as Editorial Board member for several international journals related to satellite communications, security and space technology and the TPC member and Session Chairman in international conferences. He currently is an Editorial Board Member of Nature - Scientific Report on Space Technology, and Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Satellite Communications and Networking.
His research interests include IP networking protocols and technologies, satellite communications and networking, Internet and teletraffic engineering, network security, mobile and wireless communications and mobile operating systems. I have also taught in these topics at PG/UG levels and industrial short courses for many years, leading three MSc Modules and contributing to some others. He has also acted as external examiner for PhD examinations with many Universities including Aberdeen, King’s, Leeds, Brunel, Essex, Kent, Lancaster, City, QMUL, Swansea, Bradford, Leister, York, and Sheffield in UK and other universities in Sweden, France, Spain, Singapore and China.

Prof. Dong Na
Tianjin University, China

Dong Na, PhD, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, "131" Innovative Talents of Tianjin. In 2011, she obtained a doctoral degree in engineering from Nankai University and also received a joint doctoral program from the University of Illinois in the United States. She visited the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2009 as a research assistant. She has been engaged in research on nonlinear intelligent control and data-driven control methods and applications. As the project leader, she has led three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one key project funded by the Tianjin Natural Science Foundation. She has published 56 relevant papers as the first/corresponding author in important domestic and international journals and conferences, including more than 30 SCI indexed papers and more than 1000 citations. As the first author, she published one highly cited ESI paper and authored one English monograph (chapter). As the first inventor, she has obtained 9 authorized invention patents, and 4 have completed the transformation of achievements. She won one second prize for technological invention in Tianjin as the first completed person.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wu Chun Ho, Jack

The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, China


Dr Wu excels in his role with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) as a researcher with more than a decade of professional experience. Having held numerous roles with the university previously, his expertise precedes him. Previously, he was a project fellow for the RFID Solutions Laboratory, and a visiting lecturer for the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, PolyU, and the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management, Hang Seng Management College.
Over the years, Dr Wu worked closely with many industrial partners such as Towngas Telecommunications Co Ltd, Leo Paper Bags Manufacturing (1982) Ltd, Dr Kids Education Group Ltd, and Photon Int. Ltd, to support and contribute to the formulation of their business strategies, operations improvement and new product development. Dr Wu was the recipient of the Big Data Analysis Award from the China & Hong Kong Enterprise Market Development Association in 2014, and the Best Reviewer Award for a journal entitled Internet Research in 2016. In 2015, his biographical profile has been selected for inclusion in the Marquis Who's Who in the World(R) 2016.
Dr Wu holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Systems Engineering, and a PhD in Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering. He also holds a six sigma black belt certification from the Hong Kong Society of Quality and he contributes regularly to research papers in the areas of Internet of Things, Engineering Optimisation and Business Intelligence. In collaboration with several scholars at PolyU, Tianjin University, Sun Yat-sen University, The University of York, etc, his project works and research outcomes have been presented in 10+ international conferences and published in 30+ international refereed journals, such as Information Science, Internet Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Enterprise Information Systems, Industrial Management and Data Systems. He is also one of the authors of IoT: The Basic, Applications and Case Studies (in Chinese; ISBN: 978-986-925-960-6), and System Design and Technology of Biomedical Internet of Things (in Chinese; ISBN: 978-986-84784-7-3).
To stay at the top of his field, Dr Wu is a member of IEEE and the British Machine Vision Association & Society for Pattern Recognition, and a senior member of the Hong Kong Society of Quality. Additionally, Dr Wu serves on the editorial boards of the International Journal of Engineering Business Management, and Enterprise Information Systems. As he looks to the future, Dr Wu intends to continue researching in the field of smart logistics and manufacturing.

Prof.Fan Wei
Aviation University of China, China

Fan Wei, Doctor of Engineering who learned Control Science and Control Engineering at Nankai University is currently a professor at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Civil Aviation University of China. Prof. Fan also had a Postdoctoral work experience at Institute of Mathematics and Systems Science and Chinese Academy of Sciences from June 2005 to September 2023. Prof. Fan was granted many awards and honors including 2002 Civil Aviation Administration Excellent Teachers of China, "Tenth Five Year Plan" Advanced Merit individuals in Tianjin; 2005 China Civil Aviation Association Science and Technology Progress First Prize about Flight Performance Assessment System Research; 2008 Civil Aviation Administration Science and Technology Progress Second Prize about Airline Safety Information Management System; 2022 First Graduate Mentor of Excellence in Civil Aviation University of China in Special Education. He is currently an editorial board member for several journals, such as International Journal of Engineering Business Management, Space Mission Planning & Operations, Journal of China Civil Aviation University, and also a expert in special review in "China Management Science," "Progress in Aviation Engineering".
He is mainly engaged in the fields of construction of data civil aviation information system, civil aviation big data processing and analysis, artificial intelligence related research and application; Fan participated in or presided over the completion of more than 20 provincial and ministerial projects and horizontal scientific research projects, also presided over the development of the airline revenue management system for many years that is the first domestic self-developed and long-term use of the production line of the same system in civil aviation enterprises, which has produced significant production benefits and has an important impact in the civil aviation industry. He has cooperated with major domestic airlines such as Air China, Xiamen Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Baiyun Airport, China Civil Aviation Information Network Corporation, etc., and the universities including Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Nankai University, Xiamen University, and the Institute of Science and Technology Strategy Consulting of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, etc. As of now, he has published 6 conference articles, 11 journal articles, and 5 research papers on aerospace related topics in the past 5 years. His studies are usually as enterprises commissioned projects for Xiamen Airlines, including the completed studies, Research On Minimum Cabin Prediction Based On Segment Revenue Management And Key Technologies of Revenue Management Based on Dynamic Pricing, Flight Optimization Decision Support System, Xiamen Airlines Revenue Management System in Phase III Maintenance and Improvement. He is currently under research and lead the study that is Passenger Journey Selection Model in Revenue Management Simulation from March 2021 to present.


Asso.Prof.Huang Hao
Zhuhai Research Institute, Hubei University China

Hao Huang received his bachelor's degree from Department of Communication Engineering, Beijing Jiaotong University in 2009. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (SIMIT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2014. From 2014 to 2016, he worked for Huawei Technologies Co. as a research engineer and also a system engineer in the Optic-Electronic Department of HiSilicon. Since 2017, he joined Hubei University as an associate professor. He is a member of IEEE, and a reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, etc. His research interests include nonlinear system modeling, adaptive digital signal processing, and machine vision algorithms.

Prof. Chun-Hsien CHEN
Nanyang Technological University, Sinapore

Chun-Hsien CHEN is Associate Professor (tenured), Director of the Design Stream, and Professor-in-Charge of the Design & Human Factors Lab in the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He received his BS degree in Industrial Design from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, MS and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, USA. He has several years of product design & development experience in the industry. His teaching and research interests are design science in product design and development; engineering/design informatics for managing/supporting digital design & manufacturing; and human factors and management of human performance. He has more than 270 publications in these areas. Prof. Chen has served as a Technical Reviewer for National Science and Technology Awards (Singapore), National Research Foundation of Korea, The Knowledge Foundation (KK) HÖG 16 Project, Sweden, and a Judge for Pin Up Design Awards (South Korea), an Advisory Board member for ISTE (International Society of Transdisciplinary Engineering), an Advisory Committee member for the various international conferences held in USA, Europe, Brazil, China, Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Prof. Chen has been appointed as Editor-in-Chief of Advanced Engineering Informatics (ADVEI), a SCI journal published by Elsevier (UK), since January 2013. Besides ADVEI, he is/was an editorial board member of Recent Patents on Engineering, Journal of Kansei, Heliyon, etc. He is/was a Shanghai Eastern Scholar (2011 – 2014), a Guest Professor of Tianjin University (since 2013), a Visiting Professor of National Cheng Kung University (2011), a Guest Professor of Shanghai Maritime University (since 2006), and Chaoyang University of Technology (2008 – 2010).
